RAYMOND TACKETT HONORED AT WALNUT GROVE DECORATION

The Walnut Grove Cemetery, located 2.6 miles East of Hector, will hold its annual Decoration Day Program on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 1:30 p.m.  The program will be dedicated to the memory of Raymond Tackett.  Brother Tackett moved to the Walnut Grove Community in 1927.  He was an Assembly of God Minister and row crop farmer.  Living near the cemetery, he helped dig many of the graves there and as a minister; he conducted many burial services at Walnut Grove Cemetery.  He was a hard working man who was loved and respected by all who knew him.

Family members of Raymond Tackett will honor his memory with special singing, family talks, and a devotional speaker.  Judy Tackett, granddaughter of Raymond Tackett and daughter of Edward Otho Tackett will be master of ceremonies.  She will be joined by other family members from three states for this celebration.  Please make plans to come to Walnut Grove Cemetery on Sunday, May 25 at 1:30.
